Obligatory link that I can copypasta to anyone who asks. tl;dr: Yes, I used to play Spirit Lunia. I really wish I didn't, though. No, I do not play it anymore. If you see anyone in there claiming to be me, it really isn't me. No, I probably don't recognise you from spirit (see above). The real me is antisocial and rarely parties with strangers. No, I am not interested in playing it again. I am happier where I am now, in Eternal Lunia, as are many of my old friends. No, I do not like it; I think it has become a horrible server. If you want to play it, go ahead, but please do not associate me with it. There are many, many reasons that lead me to quit spirit. Perhaps, you might have seen the one Hitler parody video that I did explaining how they fucked up their myth raid patch. To summarise, the finance guy insisted on releasing the myth raid patch early, despite the beta testers, his staff, and the developer telling him that there were still game-breaking bugs and that the patch was not ready. This resulted in all myth raids being gone (replaced with "new content" which is the exact same thing with 300x HP, but often unplayable as the 300x HP breaks some game mechanics), and all stage raids being bugged and unplayable. It was not fixed for over 6 months, by which time, myself and many of my friends had already moved on to other games. Raids were the only content suited for our level ranges, as well as my favourite part of the game, so there was no more reason for me to play anymore. Another reason I left was the abuse and double standards from the admin team. Except the developer; he's cool, but he quit too, for the same reason. Perhaps, what I am about to say may sound like baseless accusations. However, there are many former players who can confirm that what I say is true. If in doubt, I advise you to do your own research. Firstly, some of you may have heard of a scandal where the head of finance was involved in a scandal with a player, who ended up with a lot of LCoins and purchased a lot of eir pets. The GM team was forced to deny everything, and ban anyone who questioned about it for "defamation". In fact, even the GM team was lied to and told that the scandal was just a baseless rumour. However, I cannot turn a blind eye when the evidence is irrefutable; several of my friends have had nudes requested from them, but rejected mr. finance's sexual advances. In fact, I almost became a victim myself. Due to my donations to the server, finance had my personal information. He tried to guess my real full name, which would be impossible just from playing with me, as even my friends only call me by a nickname. Fortunately for me, he eventually realised that I was a Guy In Real Life. When I eventually confronted spirit gaming's boss and system administrator, his very first reaction was to say "Really now? Siding with our developer?" Funnily enough, it wasn't their developer that told me about the truth behind the scandals, which really got me suspicious as to why he would say something like that... In other words, I had been lied to. Yet another reason I had quit was because the game was becoming too pay-to-win. I shall just let the below picture do the talking: There are a lot more reasons why I quit, but if I went into detail, I would probably end up writing a novel, so I shall just stop here and say "im done".
As much as I wanted to believe that things would get better, I just couldn't. Remaining in spirit was very draining and tiring, and deeply hurt me. Besides, it was against my principles and conscious. I hope that by writing this article, all you fellow Lunians who may have seen me in Spirit Lunia once or twice would stop asking me about it. Obviously, I am no longer playing, which is why you are seeing me in another server, duh! Stop asking dumb questions, please!
